Settings & Billing
Manage your plan, team members, Meta connection, notifications, and account settings.
Plan Management
View your current plan, usage, and billing status in the Settings tab. You can:
- See your current plan tier and limits (locations, brands, AI generations)
- View current usage vs. limits
- Upgrade or downgrade your plan
- Access invoices and payment history through the Stripe Customer Portal
Free Trial
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You can use all features during the trial. When it ends, you'll be prompted to select a paid plan. If you don't, your account will be suspended (data is retained for 30 days).
Team Members & Roles
Invite team members in Settings → Users. Available roles:
- Owner — Full access to everything within their client account. Assigned to the account creator.
- Admin — Can manage all settings, users, brands, and content
- Manager — Can generate, edit, approve, and publish content. Cannot manage billing or users.
- Viewer — Read-only access to all tabs. Cannot modify any data.
Meta Connection
Connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts in Settings → Meta Connection. The connection uses a long-lived access token that remains valid for 60+ days. SocialEngine automatically refreshes it.
After connecting, match each Facebook Page to the correct facility so posts publish to the right location.
Notifications
- Email notifications — Get alerts when approved posts approach their publish date without being scheduled on Facebook. Configure recipients in Settings → Notifications.
- Browser push notifications — Desktop alerts for publishing events and errors. Enable in Settings → Notifications.
Backup & Export
Download a full backup of your data (posts, brand config, facilities, settings) as a JSON file from Settings → Backup & Export. Available as full backup or config-only.
Audit Log
Every significant action is logged: post approvals, rejections, edits, settings changes, and facility updates. View the audit trail with timestamps and user attribution.
