AI Content Generation
SocialEngine uses AI to generate location-specific social media posts tailored to your brand voice, content pillars, and each facility's unique details.
How Generation Works
When you click "Generate Posts" in the Content Calendar, here's what happens:
- SocialEngine reads your brand configuration — voice, pillars, formatting rules, and guardrails
- For each facility, it creates posts proportional to your pillar percentages
- Each post is customized with that location's specific details (address, amenities, local landmarks, events)
- Every post is quality-scored with a letter grade (A through D) based on how well it matches your brand rules
- Posts are placed into your Approval Queue for review
AI Mode: API vs. Simulated
SocialEngine supports two generation modes, switchable in Settings → AI Mode:
- API Mode — Uses Claude AI for high-quality, nuanced content generation. Recommended for production use.
- Simulated Mode — Generates template-based posts locally without API calls. Useful for testing and configuration.
Your AI mode preference is saved and persists across sessions.
Quality Scoring
Every generated post receives a quality score based on:
- Brand voice match — Does it sound like your configured tone and personality?
- Location specificity — Does it reference this facility's unique details?
- Formatting compliance — Does it follow your hook/body/CTA structure?
- Guardrail adherence — Does it include required elements and avoid restricted topics?
Grades: A (excellent) through D (needs work). Posts scored C or below may benefit from editing before approval.
A/B Caption Variants
For any post, you can generate A/B caption variants — alternative versions with different hook styles. SocialEngine offers 5 hook approaches: question-led, stat-led, story-led, tip-led, and challenge-led. Compare them side by side and pick the one that works best.
Evergreen Content
SocialEngine automatically identifies posts that could work year-round (not tied to a specific season or event). These are flagged as "evergreen" and can be reused in future content cycles.
Learning Loop
The AI learning loop analyzes your top-performing posts (based on engagement data from Analytics) and feeds those patterns back into generation. Over time, your content gets better as SocialEngine learns what works for your audience.
