Image Library

Upload facility photos, generate images with AI, and manage visual content for your posts.

Uploading Images

Open the Image Library tab and click "Upload." You can upload JPG, PNG, and WebP files. Each image is stored in Supabase Storage and associated with a facility.

AI Image Tagging

When you upload an image, SocialEngine's vision AI automatically analyzes it and generates descriptive tags (e.g., "storage-unit," "exterior," "drive-up," "climate-control"). These tags help match images to relevant posts during generation.

AI Image Generation

Generate new images using Gemini Imagen directly from the Image Library:

1. Click "Generate AI Image" in the library
2. Describe what you want (or let SocialEngine suggest a prompt based on your brand)
3. Review the generated image
4. Save to your library or discard

You can also generate images from post cards in the Approval Queue — click the "Generate" button on any post to create an image matched to that specific content.

AI Image Enhancement

For existing images, the AI enhance feature can improve lighting, contrast, and composition. The enhancement workflow includes:

1. Select an image and click "Enhance with AI"
2. Review the enhanced version side-by-side with the original
3. Choose to accept, revise (re-enhance with different parameters), or discard

Image Scheduling

When a post with an attached image is published, SocialEngine uses the Meta Photos API to upload the image alongside the post. This ensures higher quality than link-based image sharing.
